About Mineral Treasury

Minerals are more than objects to collect—they are pieces of the Earth’s history.

Mineral Treasury was created for collectors, enthusiasts, educators, and anyone who appreciates the extraordinary beauty, structure, and diversity found in natural mineral specimens.

Our goal is simple: offer carefully selected specimens, document them well, and make mineral collecting more personal, organized, and accessible.

Carefully Selected. Individually Documented.

Every specimen in our inventory is selected with care and photographed individually so you can see the actual specimen you are purchasing.

Whenever available, we document important information including mineral identification, locality, dimensions, weight, crystal form, and other characteristics that help tell the story of the specimen.

Each specimen also receives its own Mineral Treasury identification number, creating a permanent reference that helps collectors identify and document pieces in their collection.

Specimens for Every Kind of Collector

A great mineral collection does not have to begin with an expensive museum specimen.

Mineral Treasury offers specimens across a range of sizes and price points—from attractive and affordable examples for new collectors to distinctive pieces for established collections.

Whether you are interested in crystal formations, unusual localities, colorful minerals, display specimens, or simply something from nature that catches your eye, we want the experience of finding your next specimen to be part of the enjoyment of collecting.

The Collector Archive

One of the features we're building at Mineral Treasury is our Collector Archive.

As specimens leave our available inventory, selected pieces can remain documented in the archive, preserving their photographs and specimen information as part of the history of Mineral Treasury.

Over time, our goal is to build a growing reference library of minerals, localities, formations, and specimens that collectors can explore long after individual pieces have found new homes.

Our Approach

We believe a mineral specimen should be represented as accurately as possible.

Natural minerals can contain inclusions, contacts, fractures, matrix, irregularities, and other characteristics created by nature. Rather than treating every natural feature as an imperfection, we believe those characteristics are part of what makes each specimen unique.

We strive to provide clear photographs, useful information, careful packaging, and straightforward descriptions so you can purchase with confidence.

Discover Your Next Treasure
